Overview

Within Dogan Yatirim Holding’s energy focus, Oltan Koleoglu Energy converts agricultural and forestry-derived residues into electricity—supporting domestic supply, circular economy goals, and reduced import exposure in energy.
Since 2014 the company has invested in local renewable resources. Plants commissioned include Corum Mecitozu (5 MW, 2018), Afyon Cay (27 MW, 2020), Samsun Carsamba (27 MW, 2021), and Karaman central (40 MW, 2022). Combined installed capacity is around 100 MW.
The Karaman biomass power plant stands out nationally for its scale and investment level. Social responsibility and farmer-focused field programmes reinforce sustainability wherever operations are present.
Operating model
The operating model centres on converting under-utilised agricultural and forestry residues into electricity—creating domestic value in energy, one of the largest import items for the economy.
Clean energy sources anchor scalable investment; generation, fuel supply, and field operations are managed in an integrated way.
